Finland joins World Bank New Junior Professional Officer Programme

The Republic of Finland will sponsor Junior Professional Officers (JPOs) to the World Bank under an agreement recently signed between the World Bank and the Government of the Republic of Finland.

These young professionals will be involved in development co-operation activities with contracts on a year-to-year basis, up to a maximum of three years. The World Bank will provide mentoring, training and career development. It is expected that the first JPOs will join the World Bank before the end of the year. Interested candidates should contact Ms. Ulla Korhonen at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Finland.
